Song That Takes Me back

"Can you keep up?Baby boy, make me lose my breathBring the noise, make me lose my breathHit me Hard, make me lose my breath (Hah Hah)Can you keep up?Baby boy, make me lose my breathBring the noise, make me lose my breathHit me Hard, make me lose my breath (Hah Hah)" This song brings me back because when I was in the 8th grade at Dolan Middle School this was the song that we had to perform to,which at first we couldn't stand. i thought is was so dumb and that beat was at all hot when we first heard it; as the dance steps came along we started feeling the beat and the lyrics. We manage to come up with great steps and we add a drill to it. There was a part in the song where they were actually huffing and breathe,and we used baby powder to pretend that we were actually breathing. That day at the talent show was the best eveyrone thought we did a very great job and that we were creative with props that we used. It was a very exciting moment for me and my friends to do something big together before we moved on to the next chapter of our lives.

My Writing

I sit here reflecting on one of my papers and so far i like all of them except for one. That is the paper I wrote about my heritage, i felt like i revised so many times but when I give it to my teacher it always comes back with the same issue.COMMA SLPICE. Oh curse the world of grammer I could never understand the rules at all no matter how hard i try and read the book. I guess thats one book i wont be returning. Aside from that i didn't like the thesis so I ended up re-writing it. I do like it better then before i changed some stuff around and let the words flow naturally in the paper. I proofread it over and hope that there is nothng else that is missing from it and nothing that is wrong. If there is I am willing to take that time to sit and correct the mistakes that I have to. You have to do what you have to make you work perfect and to move on to the next level of English.

Vitural Life

My life in the virtual world has actually improved from when i was in high school. Yes I do have a facebook,and a myspace in high school I spent hours and hours on the computer just changing my layout and music and all the things that you can possibly do on facebook and myspace. I would wake up on a Saturday and Sunday morning or the morning at 6:30am just to go online an talk to my friends that did the same thing. But when I got into my senior year I didn't go on myspace like that,slowly i started to let go. I then got addicted to facebook and was going on it everyday i just couldn't stop posting my new status or taking those stupid quizzes. Up until the point that facebook started drama that is when I said " Amanda it's time for you isolate your self from this."I was getting caught up in so much shit that it was ridiculous and i just had to fallback. Now all I do on facebook is check my notifications,change my status and talking to my friends and then I get off.

Now my little sister and cousin are now the addict to facebook and myspace. I am to grown and busy to be up on there night and day especially i have a job and i go to school.
